Pixie Dust: Research, Grad School, and the Magic Beyond

Past Dates

Friday, January 24, 2020 - 5:00pm to 8:00pm

USRA deadlines are round the corner, and if you are wondering what a USRA position entails,
we are here to help you. We will showcase research presentations to give you a jolt of encouragement to apply for USRA positions. Presentations span different areas including Machine Learning, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Systems and Game Theory.

We are also hosting a career panel called "Career Paths: Grad School and Beyond". We have an esteemed panel from academia, startups and research labs to give advice about prospective career opportunities.

Most importantly, there will be food. We will serve light refreshments during the presentations and the panel, and there will be pizza afterwards. This is a great opportunity to meet other students in the CS department. The event is open to all undergraduate students, and we highly encourage students who identify as part of underrepresented groups to join us.

Sorry, you don't have access to sign up. This event is restricted to Computer Science Majors, Honours, Combined Programs (including Cognitive Systems), and Minors. If you have questions, please email the event creator.
